Kevin Clark is an arts creator, teacher, and performer based in NYC. Originally a world competitor and teacher for Lindy hop and vernacular jazz, he expanded to join the concert dance world as well and has choreographed and performed for the Santa Fe Opera, Tisch, as choreographer-in-residence for the Gallatin School, Jacobs pillow, Arcos Dance, various commercials and films, TheTank NYC, NYC10, and in works for Lar Lubovitch, Take Dance, Battleworks, and Batsheva Dance company. He gained his BFA with distinction from the Elizabeth Waters Center for Dance at UNM in 2014, and his company, Soluq Dance Theater, had its premiere work in 2015 in NYC, and has continued creating since.

As the Director of Soluq Dance Theater, Kevin firmly believes in the cooperative spirit, and encouraging and employing not only the performative talents of Company Dancers, but their artist minds and sensibilities as well, and demanding a fuller, more human presence both in the studio and on the stage. The richest work comes when artists are most free. 




Lir Katz is a Brooklyn based contemporary dancer, born and raised in Tel-Aviv, Israel. In 2011 she was selected to participate in Batsheva's Excellence Program, and preformed work for several choreographers, among them Ohad Naharin and Barak Marshall. She joined the Peridance International Program, and during her school years she was a company member at Soluq Dance Theater, Lucy Kerr arts, and The Next Stage Project. In 2018 Lir graduated from Peridance Capezio center, and in the spring 2018 started to work for Hivewild. Besides dancing, Lir is a working actress in Israel and has taken part in several productions including a feature film and an award winning drama series.



Nikki Theroux, originally from Massachusetts, received her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Marymount Manhattan College. Nikki has worked with Mersiha Mesihovic/CircuitDebris, Suku Dance Lab, tedted Performance Group, Mike Esperanza, Max Stone, Emily Greenwell, and Rachel Hettinger. She studied in Israel with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, where she performed works by Ilya Nikurov, Rami Be’er, and Mats Ek’s Cullberg Ballet Repertoire. Additionally, Nikki choreographs her own works, which have been presented in theatres both in and out the United States, such as Dixon Place, Triskelion Arts, The Actor’s Fund Theater, the Salvatore Capezio Theater, and the Zichri Theater. In the fall of 2017 she was selected for a residency with Chen Dance Center, during which she created a solo work for the newsteps series entitled fell. Nikki created a film project for Soluq in 2016 and joined the company in 2018. 



Emma Fitzsimmons was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota where she went to the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing artists. She went on to receive her BA in Dance and International Studies at the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point where she received the Catherine Bukolt Dance Award. In 2014, she moved to Brooklyn, NY to pursue dance. Since then, she has been dancing for Soluq Dance Theater and is the Director of Arts Operations for NYC Dance Week. As a part of NYC Dance Week, she produces NYC10 Dance Initiative with her partner Mariusz Kujawski. Emma has danced extensively for Zest Collective and directs CaptureDances insta-meets bringing together dancers and street photographers. She has taught internationally to students in Iceland and to stateless children in Mae Sai, Thailand. Additionally, Emma is a Balanced Body certified Pilates trainer with a background in biomechanics and functional movement
